“I’d always felt like something had been missing in the UK, but I didn’t quite know what that was.” Then, the epiphany came: she would return to her native Tanzania to reconnect with her heritage and share her craft. “I wanted to take my music back to the people that raised me in my early years.”

''She’s just one of those artists whose incredibly talented. She’s an incredibly beautifu lady who dresses insane, like super high fashion but really fun. I heard her music before I met her, and I loved her music. Lulu’s really good at finding people to work with, and it really reflects on the music. I think her voice is incredible, really strong, and her personality ticks the last box for me, because she’s so fun.''

Bridging two worlds.

From an early age, Lulu felt the pull of her Tanzanian roots. Returning to Tanzania was a turning point that inspired her to share her music with the community that shaped her.

Now, Lulu dreams of uniting her passions for music and hospitality. She plans to build a world-class music studio in Zanzibar’s Nungwi beach. This space will include a professional studio, luxury villas, Maasai-inspired bomas, and facilities for retreats. Designed as a haven for creativity and rejuvenation, the studio will be a space for artists to write, record, and connect in an inspiring tropical setting.
