Born in Tanzania and raised in the UK, Lulu rose to global fame as a music artist, performing on iconic stages like Glastonbury, WOMAD, Coachella and London’s O2 arena. In 2017, she returned to Tanzania to reconnect with her roots, launching successful ventures like Jungle Pearl Resort, Tam Lounge in Arusha and Pamoja Boat Parties in Zanzibar, which have become pillars of the local tourism scene.
